No notice
or Pay in Lieu of Notice
An employee shall not receive any notice of termination, or termination pay in lieu of notice, in instances including, but not limited to, the following:
- when an employee voluntarily resigns
- when an employee retires according to established company practice
- when an employee was hired for temporary work or for a fixed term which has expired (in either case up to 12 months)
- when an employee is terminated for cause, which term shall include, but is not limited to the following:
- fraud
- dishonesty
- wilful misconduct
- insubordination
- disobedience
- neglect of duty, or
- incompetence
