Non-competition
clause
- The following non-competition clause is one which is likely to be enforced if challenged in the courts:
- The employee agrees that in the event of his/her employment being terminated for any cause or reason, he/she will not thereafter, either directly or indirectly, either as a partner or as an officer, director, shareholder, or employee or agent or servant of any corporation or partnership, for a period of two (2) years after leaving the said employment, solicit orders from any customer of the employer for such products as are manufactured and/or sold by the employer, within the Province of ____________ and that he/she will similarly not engage in the business of the manufacture and sale of such products as are manufactured and/or sold by the employer within the said period and within the Province of ________
